Mr. David Ahn joined MEI Real Estate Services in 2007 and is currently the Vice President of Asset Services. Mr. Ahn’s innovative thinking and technologically advanced approach towards real estate and property management has helped make MEI Real Estate Services unique in the industry. Since joining MEI, Mr. Ahn has primarily supported the Property Management division overseeing hundreds of millions of dollars in assets under management.
Prior to joining the MEI team, Mr. Ahn worked with a prominent real estate investment and management firm based in Los Angeles. During his tenure, Mr. Ahn was responsible for the physical and financial management of nearly one million square feet of office, retail, and residential property in and around LA. His experience and knowledge in physical plant management, tenant management, and leasing all contribute to the MEI Real Estate Services Team.
Mr. Ahn holds Real Property Administrator (RPA) and Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) designations awarded through the Building Owners and Managers Institute and is a member of BOMA Los Angeles. He has also attained Certified Property Manager (CPM) awarded through the Institute of Real Estate Management of which he is a member, as well as the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute. In addition to the various industry designations, Mr. Ahn is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of California.
Mr. Ahn is a graduate of the University of California; San Diego where he completed his degree in Economics with a minor in Communication in just over two years. His study in financial markets, macroeconomics, and microeconomics, combined with dedication to commercial real estate contributes to the confidence MEI instills in our clients.
