Equity Participation ($1M - $15M): MEI offers real estate investment opportunities for passive investors with equity participation as little as $1M and as high as $15M. MEI commits an equity contribution to each investment with its partners and MEI utilizes its expertise and experience to source the investment, structure the acquisition and turn the acquired asset into a performer.
Preferred Return (5%-6%): MEI subordinates its return to equity dollars invested until a cumulative preferred return is distributed. Typically a 5%-6% preferred return is established depending on the investment and product type.
Targeted IRR: Through a combination of cash flow and capital appreciation, we target real estate investments that will generate between a 12% and 20% return.
Product Type: MEI has decades of experience with all types of real estate but focuses its investment resources on retail/mixed use, office, and multi-family products.
