E, Dennis and Chelsea of MEI Real Estate Services close a 15-year, 3,300 SF Pad Space Development deal valued just under $4.6 Million. After working with the City of  Torrance for a rigorous 20 months, approval to build a QSR drive-thru pad building fronting Hawthorne Blvd. was granted by the city council. The pad development will be approximately 3,300 SF and include an outdoor patio with seating and access to the public sidewalk on Hawthorne Blvd. The development will from Hawthorne Blvd. on the westerly side of Best Plaza Shopping Center in Torrance, and will have a drive-thru queue of 13 vehicles. This modern development will add synergy to the center and compliment the adjacent and existing drive-thru tenant, In-N-Out Burger. The deal was closed at terms that exceeded the Landlord expectations and tenant projects to break ground in late 2018. The incoming tenant has superior financial strength and has plans to continue expanding their international concept throughout Southern California in the future.
