MEI is pleased to announce the closing of a new retail lease at Best Plaza Shopping Center in Torrance, CA. A new 5-year lease transaction was closed with a beauty related user which expects to open for business in winter of 2023. Dennis and Chelsea of MEI represented the Landlord and tenant in the transaction to secure market rents on a long-term deal for the suite with no TI. The closing of this deal puts the 98K SF shopping center at 99% occupancy with only one small shop space left for lease. The incoming tenant will serve as fabulous co-tenants with the existing fitness/health-lifestyle mix of retailers at Best Plaza. The multi-year lease at the property was negotiated at terms meeting the owner’s expectations and was instrumental in near concluding leasing at the property.
